Temple Engineers are delivering impact through research funded by grants through such organizations as USAID, the National Institutes of Health, the American Heart Association, the National Science Foundation and PennDOT. Additionally, as part of the Temple R1 research designation, faculty and students are collaborating with faculty from other universities, and Temple's colleges and schools, including the Katz School of Medicine, School of Dentistry and College of Public Health. 

Faculty are engaging in cutting-edge research conducted in the College’s advanced laboratories and centers, collaboratively in the College's new IDEAS Hub space, and is supported by a thriving graduate student population and a team of post-doctoral fellows and research scientists.

Appreciating the vital role that research serves in our intimate learning environment, our undergraduate and graduate student population contribute actively to the research performed at the College of Engineering.
